From ancestral inspired threads to contemporary explorations, And Sew It Seams presents a dynamic and intergenerational display of textile artistry. The featured multidisciplinary artists, spanning mediums from collage and quiltmaking to mixed media assemblage and sculpture, challenge traditional notions of Black craftsmanship by fusing centuries-old techniques and afro- futurist storytelling.
